Will you please provide daily bread and education?

For 70 years the Sisters of the Casa de los Pobres have provided love and support to thousands of the poor in Tijuana. No one who comes to the Casa is ever turned away without being helped. Over 1,000 people come daily for a meal that might be the only food they will have to eat that day.

In addition to providing daily meals, the the Sisters provide spiritual care, medical care, social services and financial support for students to attend school, helping to break the cycle of poverty through education. Maria was supported by the Casa, and now is a teacher. She and her family are no longer living in poverty.
